Really great local Mexican food!! I didn't even realize it was there. It's a small restaurant but it's very comfortable. They even had a DJ that came in after a while. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and the Texan Fajitas and it was really good. They gave the option of refried bean or black bean so I thought that was pretty good. And I had a crazy mango margarita to top everything off.

The family love this place!! Authentic Mexican food at reasonable prices. Can't beat that.
As soon as you enter the place, the vibe just sets you in such a good mood. The staff are always friend and service is very quick. Sometimes if you are lucky, there will be a mariachi band serenading the patrons. It's so much fun and everyone either just sings or be bop right along.
On to the food. Our go to dinner entree is the fried tilapia. It's huge and so so good. It comes with rice, salad and black beans. It's yummilicious. Mom and husband usually finish it and leave just the bones behind. Another dish that we all love to share is an appetizer of fried plantains served with crema and refried beans.
One non alcoholic drink item that just blew us away is the cashew fruit drink. It's very light and refreshing and just so right for s warm summer night. Their other drinks on the menu are also very good and you all will love the price.
This place is just so good. Don't take my word just come in and give the food a try. -

Just had a great, late afternoon Memorial Day meal, the Parrillada de la casa, which is grilled chorizo sausage, chicken, pork, and steak served on a sizzling platter with all the sides. My friend finished her Churrasco Guatemalteco with great sides. The service and attention were excellent! I highly recommend this lovely restaurant for dining in, takeout ,or delivery into the wee hours after midnight.

Great place that weather the changes in the area. Been coming here for over 11 years. Solid restaurant and great friendly staff. Worth checking out

A co worker and I stopped in on a Thursday night around 5:45pm for dinner. Texas Parrillada is located in a strip mall right near a couple other Mexican restaurants. Based on the outside it looks a little nicer than the others. The only time I had been inside before this was when we ordered to go. This time around we sat inside and ordered pupusas and seafood enchiladas. Wait time was pretty reasonable and the food looked fresh when it arrived.
The cheese pupusas were OK but nothing special. I ordered three based off of the waitresses recommendation but I did not need three. I ate two and took the other home. Each one cost me about $2.50 which seemed like a reasonable price.
The seafood enchiladas (I heard) tasted good and came with rice and beans. The enchiladas cost about $12 and my coworker would probably order them again.
The reason I gave this place 3 stars was because it didn't wow me but I didn't hate it. I wouldn't ask to go back but I also wouldn't turn it down. I feel like this place may appeal more to meat eaters, but they do have options for everyone.
